Description

Always wanted to learn to snowshoe? Hidden lakes, winter tracks and towering snow ghosts are yours to discover. We will teach you about the mountains and how to snowshoe like a pro. Come for the fun in the snow, stay for the fabulous food and the clean mountain air. BC gourmet lunch is served in a rustic mountain cabin by the fire or on a snowy mountain peak.

Itinerary

Day Trip

Meet us on the mountains to start your walk. Put your snowshoes on and slip quietly into the thick groves of red cedar and Douglas fir. British Columbia’s coastal rainforest is sheltering you; look up into the snow covered forest canopy. Lunch is prepared for you by our chef travelling with you. Wild BC ingredients will be highlighted like wild salmon, Dungeness crab, wild salmon, chanterelle mushrooms or venison, so you can truly experience British Columbia at it's finest.

Van Support

Shuttle service runs from downtown Vancouver to the trail head and back. There is no pick up or drop off service other than this main route.

Terrain

Trails are easy hills on the green level hikes to some steep sections on the moderate level routes. Each tour is maximum 12 guests.

Note on snowshoeing times:

Approx 2.5 hours (including ½ hour lunch stop) depending on route choice, elevation etc.
